Texture Perspective Environment
The first of the creative assignments in Drawing class allows students to bring a feeling of depth to their drawings. Two days are used in teaching students about perspective. Students follow along on their paper while the teacher demonstrates how to draw ellipses and other objects using 1, 2, and multi-point perspective.
The assignment is to draw a picture that has a rich variety of texture and utilizes linear perspective in some way.
Evaluation:
1 point -- Use of class time
3 points -- 4 textures visible in the drawing
3 points -- Correct use of perspective
3 points -- Objects and textures are visible from a distance
10 points total.
