Reproduction of Line Drawings
After using a grid to reproduce lines in the previous assignment students have the necessary skills to move to a higher level of drawing: Reproducing lines without a grid. A variety of cartoon panels are available to choose from. Each has at least two characters interacting. Students are to use only their eyes, hands, and pencils to draw an enlarged version of the cartoon they choose. No rulers or grids are allowed.
Evaluation:
1 point -- Use of class time
1 point -- Correct reproduction of line weight
2 points -- Accurate placement of shapes-objects-characters
3 points -- Correct proportion
3 points -- Attention to detail
