Paper Swirls
For this Sculpture assignment students use paper to construct a model of a play place or large environmental sculpture. Students are given lessons in how to give paper structural strength. Paper folding and simple origami methods are practiced before the assignment is given.

2 points -- Minimum 9 inches high
1 point -- Scale of size included
3 points -- Interesting story about the sculpture
